I went home this past weekend - figured I'd get in some family time since I will be working long hours this upcoming one.  And... I went a little nutso with the camera.  (Cut so I don't break anyone's f-lists.)

Hey guys, I'm currently moving at just under Mach 7 doing homework and such, so I'll just show you a sneak peek of my current epic design project.  This is the prototype of the body of Lothlorien, worked from the hem up to the underarms.  I'm working out the bugs on the sleeves and will hopefully have some more to show in a while.  (Also, I'll post ( Read more... )

Today was so, so much better.  I'm most of the way up the sleeve of Lothlorien - oh, right, that's the sweater I'm working on now - and I lovelovelove the cables on it.  I visited the library and got a crapton of books, knitting and fiction, and then got to hit JoAnn Fabrics.  Got the yarn for my Rivendell commission (!!!) and for Rohan, eventually ( Read more... )
